GROUP OFFERINGS
Bios and Bagels - Monthly book group for people of diverse backgrounds who read a biography each month, meets the first Saturday to discuss the last month's book and how they relate to the material. Book list, facilitation, and refreshments provided for $10 monthly. Meets the first Saturday of each month at 10am at above address. $10.

Women's Meeting - Twice-monthly meeting for women who want to improve their wellness with confidential group therapy. Art, writing, and biblio-therapy techniques, as well as, educational sections will be employed. Low cost, limited size, 2 hour format, makes this a unique growth opportunity for women willing to commit to the growth experience. $30 per session/$60 per month. $30. Please call to get on the list - your available dates will be considered.
WORKSHOPS
Introduction to Reiki - a discussion of alternative healing methods with a focus on Usui Reiki. For those who want to know about all the different 'Eastern' influences and more about the practice of Reiki. The history and practice of Reiki will be covered with interactive demonstration. This workshop is open to all, however it is required for reiki students desiring a level 1 Attunement this year $50
Sunday, November 20, 2011 10am-lpm, with snack, pre-registration necessary.
Journaling Workshop - want to improve the quality of your joumaling, the communication with your inner self? Narrative therapy techniques can help your daily joumaling move from a regular accounting of the day to a creative means to unblock yourself. Develop & personalize great exercises, techniques, and skills to improve your joumaling skills. $50

Pain Group Forming
A NEW Chronic Pain Group is forming – proposed Mondays 1-3. If you have interest in this group please call Gail-Elaine at 610-216-4319 to make an appointment for an evaluation. Thereafter, group costs are $30 per session .The group will be confidential, on-going, and require commitment to wellness.

Reiki Share Night:
Gail-Elaine Tinker, M.S., RM is offering a FREE Reiki Care and Share Open House on Friday March 18th at 7pm at Tinker Psychotherapy Services, 3005 Brodhead Road, #185 REAR ENTRANCE, Bethlehem, PA 18020. There is no cost but ASAP REGISTRATION at 610-216-4319 is necessary as space is limited.
Reiki is a complementary wellness/relaxation therapy intended to treat physical, emotional, and mental diseases. Reiki Practitioners use a technique similar to the laying on of hands to channel "healing energy" to willing, clothed clients who can lay upon a table or sit still in a chair for at least 20 minutes. This gentle experience is ideal for those experiencing chronic pain, grief, stress, anxiety, depression and other distress.
Don’t forget to register before March 15th for FREE Reiki!

Mission Statement: Bagels & Biographies is a monthly book group which reads biographies and memoirs in the spirit of literary appreciation and support for mutual healthy personal development. Our members come from diverse backgrounds and experience; therefore, beginners to book groups are welcome. As a group experience, we strive for committed individuals who want to read and share confidentially within the group. Bagels & Biographies is moderated by Gail-Elaine Tinker, M.S., professional psychotherapist, who provides location, leadership, and refreshments.
Meeting Location, Time, & Cost: We meet monthly on the second Saturday at 9am at the office of Tinker Psychotherapy, 3005 Brodhead Road, #185 Rear/North Entrance, Bethlehem, PA 18020. The space is handicapped accessible. The cost is $10 per month which includes healthy ‘breakfast’ offerings.
