What is Life Coaching?Tinker Psychotherapy Coach Icon
Life Coaching is a rapidly growing profession that includes aspects of psychology, consultation, philosophy, mentoring, spirituality, business leadership, career development, finances, transformation, motivation and personal change. A Life Coach is similar to a personal fitness trainer; only the goal is for you to live your whole life to the fullest and to the best of your abilities. Life Coaching focuses on your whole life, because you function at your best when every area of your life is maximized.

How will we do that?
We will form an interactive partnership designed to co-create a vision for your future that better balances the many aspects of your life; that promotes achievement from possibilities; that inspires and motivates you to take the next step; that enhances your performance; that helps you really live the life you want to live. Such a partnership will help you to stay focused and on track so that you develop more rapidly and produce more satisfying results in your life than you would normally accomplish on your own.

  • Because you want more out of life.
  • Because you want to grow and produce results.
  • Because you want to make changes faster and easier.
  • Because you want to maintain progress towards your goals.
  • Because you want to establish and maintain balance in your full life.

You can focus on your business, career, finances, life purpose, vocation, relationships, health, time management, spirituality, parenting, etc., whatever aspects of your life you feel need of support and definition.

What Results Can I Expect with Coaching?
We cannot guarantee that you will achieve any specific results. You will achieve as much or as little as you put into it. It will require you to invest your own time and energy into achieving your goals. But these are reasonable expectations for your Coaching partnership:

  • You will have a Life Coach who cares deeply about you, your success, your happiness, your fulfillment and balance in life.
  • You will be better able to tackle the barriers and obstacles that get in the way of achieving what you desire.
  • You will develop specific plans for removing those barriers and increasing the supports that motivate you to do your best and to stay focused on your goals.
  • You will discover new alternatives and approaches to consider in achieving your desired outcomes.
  • You will increase your awareness of choices and make better decisions.
  • You will be provided structure, support, accountability, and feedback to promote greater progress on clarifying your goals and concerns; to form action plans, to make decisions and to achieve your goals.
  • You will be able to find more successful solutions to your challenges and concerns.
